Eden Malloy ~ Underage Dinker

Eden Malloy grew up in Nashville, TN and spent her younger years exploring many activities including dance, basketball, and volleyball.  Upon moving to Florida in 2019, Eden began taking tennis lessons.  In the fall of 2021, when she was 13, a neighbor invited her to play Pickleball.  She connected to the sport, as well as the people and immediately dropped tennis.

After about a year of social play, another neighbor asked her to compete in a tournament playing women’s doubles 3.0.  They won silver! Shortly after, she was offered a paddle sponsorship.  Eden has continued to compete in tournaments from Florida to Las Vegas to the National Amateur Championships in Dallas, TX. She has secured Golden Tickets to Nationals for the past three years and consistently places in every tournament amassing an impressive collection of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

Eden has just signed a pro contract with Selkirk. She is looking forward to the relationship with the leader in pickleball paddles and gear.  Her first tournament with Selkirk will be a PPA Challenger in Opelika, AL.

Eden is an A student and is about to gradate from high school. She has been taking dual enrollment courses at Northwest Florida State College since completing all of her high school requirements in 2024. Eden will continue to take college courses as she pursues her pickleball aspiration.

Eden has also launched a merch line, Underage Dinker. Her goal is to grow the business to help cover the costs of tournaments and training with hopefully a lot left over to help underprivileged kids be able to afford pickleball. But mostly, Eden is focused on continuing to improve her game and increasing her ranking in the sport.  She is currently competing at a 5.0 level and pro qualifiers.  She  hopes her enthusiasm inspires other youths to pick up the sport because…you’re never too young to dink!
